What You’ll Need

You’ll need your usual amigurumi suspects:

5 mm crochet hook
tapestry needle
yarn calling for a 5 mm crochet hook (Aran weight yarn). I used YARN AND COLORS "Epic" (cotton)
fiberfill stuffing
a natural wood branch or stick of approx. 6 inches (15 cm).

Sizing: Using the mentioned materials the wall hanging measures approx. 13 inches (33 cm) in width and 14 inches (37 cm) in total height (from the branch to the end of the tassels).

HOW TO CHANGE COLOR WHEN YOU'RE CROCHETING ON THE WRONG SIDE:

To make sure that the color change is invisible when you're crocheting on the wrong side of the work (aka every row with an odd number), you must change the color this way:

Take the "old" thread with your left hand and move it forward (between the "new"

thread and the loop). Hold it steady with your left thumb as you change color.

Then, wrap the new thread around the hook, and pull it through the loops.

MAKE 9 TASSELS:

For every tassel, cut 5 strands of Turquoise yarn (approx. 9 inches / 25 cm long). Pass them all together through the first ch of the foundation chain. Bind all strands together with a knot.

Do the same for every tassel, leaving an even space between each one. (pic.3)

Cut all ends to even out.

Attach a strand of Turquoise yarn to the two sides of the wooden branch to hang the picture on the wall. (pic.4)
